Overview
This survey follows suspended sediment through three tidal inlets to support interpretation of turbidity, deposition and seasonal exchange.
The observations are intended for process studies and comparison between inlets, not for calculating a complete sediment budget without additional measurements.
Method
Water samples and optical readings are collected along repeated transects. Laboratory concentrations are matched to the field time and position, with instrument checks preserved in the quality fields.

Known limitations
Sampling is concentrated along accessible transects and does not capture every tidal or storm condition. Compare like-for-like stations and dates when using the series.
