Overview
This collection makes the considerations used in early-stage offshore renewable energy screening visible in one place. It combines environmental values, existing uses, access conditions and planning signals; it does not produce a single suitability score.
The layers are intentionally kept separate so users can inspect trade-offs instead of treating a composite map as an answer.
Method
Each layer is normalised to a common extent and documented with its source agency, date, scale and interpretation. The synthesis team assigns a planning status—context, constraint or consultation trigger—without changing the underlying geometry.
